ABOUT

Sarah K. Gonzales is the founder and chief educational consultant of SKG Consulting. With over two decades of experience in legal admissions across both public and private universities overseeing academic and non-academic programs, she established SKG consulting in response to the evolving landscape of legal education. As LLM programs, non-law graduate degrees, international programs, and professional training opportunities continue to expand, SKG consulting serves as a trusted resource for law schools and students pursing legal study in the United States.

Sarah has been a featured speaker or panelist in more than 76 presentations hosted by organizations such as Fulbright, EducationUSA, Procuraduria General del Estado (Ecuador), Korean Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency, Deutsch-Amerikanische Juristen-Vereinigung (DAJV), Law School Admission Council (LSAC), NAFSA, Center for Arbitration and Mediation at the Chamber of Commerce in Quito, the Belarus Conference on Mediation, and others. 

An experienced workshop facilitator, Sarah has led trainings on a wide range of topics, including recruiting international students, writing strong personal statements, assessment and evaluation for international educators, international student admissions and placement, cross-cultural communication, cultural analysis frameworks, intercultural communication fundamentals, and approaches to understanding conflict and managing difficult conversations.
